Join Ayurvedic Yoga Instructor + Chef, Stephanie Wright for this Post Mother's Day Self Nurturing Event.

 Class will begin with gentle, restorative yoga poses to support the physical body in letting go of held tensions. While resting in the poses, Stephanie will guide you through a meditation offering opportunity and cues to use self marma (pressure point massage) to enhance the relaxation response. 

 Following the movement, self massage and meditation, each participant will be served a bowl of Stephanie's homemade Kitchari accompanied by her cilantro, date chutney and a fresh cup of hibiscus rose, lemon balm tea.

Jennifer Monness is the founder and lead instructor of The Meditation Lab, a local program bringing meditation + mindfulness into schools and corporations, athletic teams and hospitals!

This class is a part of our International Mindfulness Month series and will begin with some gentle movement…to essentially get the wiggles out and create a body that is happier about laying still for a bit. Jen will then guide you through a mindfulness meditation that will leave you feeling less tense and more connected.

Yin Yoga is all about holding postures for an extended amount of time allowing for the opportunity to dig deeper into the held tensions of the body.

More active forms of yoga target the muscles, where Yin Yoga targets the intricate web of connective tissue in the body. When connective tissue is relaxed, the body’s natural instinct to heal will kick in.

Couple this with a soothing candle lit room, and your body will feel as if it is melting into the weekend.

Beginner friendly, no experience with Yin Yoga necessary,

As we move into the heart of spring, and begin to appriach summer we may feel a desire to let go and begin anew! This unique combination of Restorative Yoga +Reiki is a great way to do just that!

Breathe and let go into cushions and props that are positioned to support the body in releasing tension and stress. As you relax, you’ll be offered Reiki, a gentle, hands-on technique that channels life force energy through the subtle body to promote deep relaxation, balance and well-being.

This practice encourages the nervous system to quiet and allows for deep healing on a physical and emotional level. 

Class size is kept small to allow for more individual attention, and an enhanced healing experience.
