Space Club was launched in 2014 by Natasha Wilkerson, STEM Director of Communities In Schools of San Antonio. She left a career in aerospace engineering to engage at-risk youth in STEM pathways. Space Club began as an afterschool STEM program that inspires youth with hands-on engineering design and space exploration activities.
Today, over 400 schools across the world have implemented Space Club curriculum through afterschool or classroom activities.
