F(X) HASH: WEEKEND UPDATE

APRIL 2ND, 2022

These weekly updates provide informed observations through tracking price movement. This should serve as a starting point to “do your own research” (DYOR) and making your own informed decision.

Complete spread sheet can be found here.

Well this is it, the last update before the big burn. It's hard to believe it's only been about 5 months since the platform launched. We are all eagerly awaiting version 1.0 from @fx_hash_ Highlights from the previous week below.

From a handful of free mints and a few collectors, FX Hash has changed the game in generative art with nearly 18k wallets holding at least one piece from the platform. Floor prices range anywhere from 0 Tez to 7,500 Tez or 8.5E. Our highest sale to date is a staggering 9,000 Tez or 10.17E from a mint price of just 18 Tez. Collections on this list have had returns ranging from -20% from mint price to a gain of approximately 187,400%.

As always, this is not financial advice and past performance are no guarantee of future returns, but I do find it helpful to track price performance over time. The last week brought more big moves with some not unexpected pullbacks among collections that had parabolic gains from the prior week.

Notable gains for the week were led by a big move to the upside for Mountain View by @flockaroo +99%. Not far behind was a gain of 60% for Ongemak by @reveil_s and +57% from SMOLSKULLS💀 by @mknol. Continuing on we had a gain of 55% for A Stitch Is Fine by @lisaorthstudio, +44% for Fireworks by @HeveyArt, +43% for Shattered Moons by @MAKIO135, and +40% for Punevry's Face by @punevyr. Hex from @yiwen_lin gained 38% on the week, Contrapuntos by @msoriaro 35%, Zhu(竹) and Mei(梅) both from @ComboRandom were up 32% and 34%, respectively. SoulTree by @cheyuwu345 gained 36% and Jardin by @mjlindow was up 35%. Rounding out the list of collections with >20% gains were Waiting in Afton by @mjlindow up 27% with a floor of 7,500 tez and Study of atom in analog, digital, and A.I. from @ivonatau up 23% on the week.

With all of these big moves, it's hard to know which collections have room to run, but I'm of the opinion that there are some great deals out there. As always, please do your own research and draw your own conclusions. Historically as new mints become available, collectors tend to list more pieces for sale in a hunt for liquidity. Conversely, we could see many of the beta 'blue chips" end up increasingly in diamond hands and become harder to buy. FX Hash blue chips are still quite a bit more affordable than top pieces from Art Blocks. I think the safest bet is to spend what you can afford to part with and buy what you love.

The great part of the platform is that with no barriers to entry, there will always be new collections to explore. If you're new to FX Hash, there is a great user guide compiled by @webbovich77  pinned to his Twitter profile. Another useful tool for monitoring sales is https://fxhash.netlify.app. If you want to check top wallets as well as see your cost basis and potential returns, you can use this app https://fxparty.xyz.

Finally, I would highly recommend joining the FX Hash discord if you haven't done so already. You can find it on the @fx_hash_ Twitter page. As always, any feedback is highly appreciated. I'm guessing the remainder of 2022 will be as exciting as the last 5 months.
